A Moment of Reflection
Photos from The Eden Project
Sound is played through the pool of water. Raw recordings of the Kaua'i 'õ'ō, and sounds created by digitally processing its song. The pool rests on a plinth of ash; a tree that lived for seventy years before falling of its own accord in February 2025.
This final song was recorded during a solitary search for a mate who would never come.
Resonating through the water's surface, the bird's song reveals beautiful yet stark designs, serving as a testament to a silenced voice. A species lost to extinction.

I specialise in Implementation.
Often blending sound, light, and materials to bring ideas to life, turning my hand to a wide range of creative and technical projects. With a foundation in music production spanning genres from live electronic festival dance shows to spoken word folk and hiphop, I craft dynamic soundscapes that enhance emotional and sensory experiences.
My skills extend to designing low-voltage systems for off-grid setups and artworks, merging technical expertise with creative approach.
At times I'm a creative translator, collaborating with others to refine and realise their concepts, whether through immersive sound environments, sustainable design, or innovative installations.
My work with Squidsoup, a collective known for boundary-pushing digital art, is a environment where these skills all combine. From music production to technical problem-solving, I work well when adapting to bring projects to life.

My work in music production ranges from live performance to studio precision. From playing at festivals like WOMAD to designing soundscapes for international exhibits, I focus on transforming ideas into compositions for audio journeys. Whether collaborating with musicians or art collectives like Squidsoup, I aim to listen, understand, and shape the contributions of others into something meaningful. My approach is rooted in spontaneity and precision, creating experiences that stay with the audience long after the music ends.

While I am not a trained educator, I believe in the value of sharing knowledge and learning collaboratively. One of my most rewarding experiences was regularly guiding a student from the early stages of music production to the point where they no longer need my assistance, having released multiple albums independently. This process has been both fulfilling and reciprocal, as I’ve continually learned from their work too.

I have a large amount of experience traveling both solo and with teams, overseeing international projects and leading local collaborators to ensure successful delivery under tight deadlines. Whether working independently in remote locations or coordinating with local teams, I enjoy working in different environments. Experienced at navigating different types of projects, communicating across time zones, and leading teams to ensure consistent on-time delivery.
